Most businesses we meet in Accra are already spending on marketing. The problem is rarely budget — it is that the spend is scattered. A boosted post here, a flyer there, an Instagram page that goes quiet for three weeks. Nothing compounds.
Start with search. When someone types "plumber in East Legon" or "school in Tema", the businesses that show up have three things: a Google Business Profile that is filled in and reviewed, pages on their website written around the exact phrases customers use, and enough page speed that Google is happy to rank them.
Social media is for trust, not for discovery. Post proof — finished work, happy customers, behind the scenes, prices where you can be transparent. Two consistent posts a week beat ten posts in one burst followed by silence.
Email and SMS are where the money quietly is. A list of past customers costs nothing to message and converts far better than cold ads. One monthly email and one well-timed SMS around a promotion routinely outperform a month of boosted posts for our clients.
Paid ads work once the rest is in place. Sending paid traffic to a slow site with no clear offer is how marketing budgets disappear. Fix the destination first, then buy attention for it.
Measure three numbers only: how many people arrive, how many enquire, and how many buy. If you cannot see those numbers this week, install analytics before you spend another cedi.
We build the whole loop — site, SEO, content calendar, email and SMS automation — so each part feeds the next instead of competing for the same budget.
